from the Las Hermanas Cooperative

Tasting notes:
This coffee variety is on the darker side of medium roast/ It offers subtle notes of stone fruit, milk chocolate, toasted walnut, lemon and molasses.

Origin:
Made up of over 220 women, "Las Hermanas" have been lauded as producers of high quality coffee. With an exceptional leader at the helm, Las Hermanas has been able to demonstrate that this group of hard working women can produce amazing coffees.

Pairing Suggestions:
The Jimbo's team recommends pairing this coffee variety with a tasty and sweet item from our Bakery, such as a Jimbo's blueberry scone or an Energy Buzz caboodle.

When you’re done with your meal, your used paper napkins or paper towels go in your compost bin. Yes, even if there’s food on it (the compost loves it that much more!)

Dining in-store? Please look for the compost bin in our café.

Note: paper towels that have any cleaning chemicals, or chemicals of any sort cannot be composed in and must go in the trash.

When the Del Mar Fair comes around, think Cotton Candy Grapes!

Organic Cotton Candy Grapes are a hybrid grape variety that smell and taste just like cotton candy, yet are still non-GMO and certified organic! The season should last for a couple months.

While KJ likes to eat them straight from the bag, other team member tips are to freeze the grapes and eat from the freezer- or blend the frozen grapes and eat by the spoonful, or also to look for the brown-tinted grapes for an even sweeter taste.
