Jimbo’s offers the highest quality meat and seafood, ensuring all producers and ranchers provide the best quality and meet our high standards. We believe in raising the standards on meat and seafood therefore we only sell meat from animals raised humanely without antibiotics and growth hormones. Our team does a thorough evaluation and review of our suppliers to assure that all of our meat and seafood is free of artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. Our staff personally inspects every product that is delivered to our stores.
Organic meat must be hormone-free, come from organically raised stock, be free-range and be fed a diet consisting only of organically grown feed.
Fresh Fish and Seafood
The Jimbo’s commitment to quality and freshness is unsurpassed, as our fish contains absolutely no preservatives or antibacterial. Our fish are never injected or dipped with phosphates or sulfites and are never sprayed with chlorinated water – a step that inhibits surface bacteria so that less-than fresh fish can be sold.
To obtain the purest fish possible, we pick fish caught in waters known to be among the cleanest and coldest in the world. This decreases the possibility of pollutants and bacterial contamination. Jimbo’s only carries farm-raised fish whenever wild fish is not available.
We order fish daily from reputable fishmongers- not a few times a week, as some grocery chains do. If preservative-free filets are not available, we purchase whole fish and filet them in-house. In addition, we carry preservative-free shellfish.
Beef
Jimbo’s carries beef that is raised in a certified natural program without the use of hormones. Cattle are fed high-quality grain that is continuously tested to be free of herbicides and pesticides.
We also carry grass-fed, organic, free-range beef that is low in fat and carries high quantities of omega-3 and omega-6 oils.
Poultry
Our poultry is free of antibiotics; this includes in their feed and in their medicine. They live outside in large house with ample room to roam and forage. This mobility builds stronger immunities, especially to antibiotic-resistant bacteria such as salmonella.
In addition, Jimbo’s also carries organic chicken and turkey, which are raised just as our natural and free-range poultry, only they are fed certified organic feed.
