Reports To: Director of Human Resources
Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,000 annually
General Purpose:
To design and oversee all company talent acquisition (sourcing, recruiting, retaining, onboarding, and integrating new members) and learning/development programs. Assist Operations and the Human Resource Department in achieving their goals through effective strategies in recruiting, onboarding, and new hire training, development of all staff members and management, staff retention and role modeling our company Mission/Vision and Bill of Rights. The Talent Acquisition and Development Manager is passionate about creating meaningful connections with potential candidates, developing engaging employment experiences, and fostering a supportive leaning environment where all staff members can flourish and grow.
Essential Duties:
· Support the company’s Applicant Tracking System platform.
· Support the company’s Onboarding platform.
· Manage the company’s candidate sourcing platforms and their respective budgets: Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
· Analyze turnover metrics and develop strategies to address trends or challenges proactively.
· Cultivate relationships with universities, vocational schools, community groups and Marketing to build a talent pipeline.
· Support the Director of Human Resources to ensure hiring practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including EEO and diversity initiatives.
· Develop, schedule, plan and facilitate all company new hire, compliance and educational trainings for front line staff, supervisors, and senior management team members.
· Develop, coordinate, and integrate training programs that will include outside experts presenting the specific subject matter.
· Play a leadership role in the development, planning and execution of the company “Succession Training and Planning” for staff member growth opportunities and all associated programs.
· Facilitate professional development opportunities to foster skill-building, growth, and advancement.
· Oversee onboarding feedback program to measure effectiveness and develop a 30/60/90-day onboarding and training follow up process.
· Provide coaching for supervisors and managers to help them improve in their management and leadership abilities.
· Develop and oversee the new hire onboarding experience in all stores and support as needed.
· Support the Director of Human Resources with the training and development of managers in the HR component of their job.
· Continuously update and refresh all company training materials.
· Oversee the development and administration of staff member retention, reward, and recognition programs.
Other Responsibilities:
· Support with recruitment of staff members (interviewing, reference checking, onboarding) and support hiring process for HRC team.
· Act as a strategic partner with the Operations Team as it relates to managing onboarding and training programs.
· Promote and provide consistent, unsurpassed customer service at all times.
· Promote a positive atmosphere for shopping and working.
· Attend seminars, trainings, and workshops to consistently improve and update all company recruiting, retention, and onboarding programs.
· Assist the Human Resource Team as directed by the Director of Human Resources.
· Assist with annual /special projects, in addition to assisting with other departmental initiatives as the Director of Human Resources.
Qualifications:
· Must have a minimum of 3 years of Human Resource experience, including in designing and managing recruiting or talent acquisition programs and staff development initiatives.
· Very strong communication, organization, listening, and customer/staff member service skills.
· Excellent human relation skills including approachability, patience, neutrality, confidentiality, and professionalism.
· Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to constructively address performance issues.
· Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR technologies.
· Strong facilitation and mediation skills.
· Ability to travel between stores.
· Intermediate math skills.
· Must be computer literate with experience in Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel.

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time
· Ability to bend at waist and reach above shoulders and horizontally to retrieve files and supplies.
· Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer and other office equipment
