Product Standards of Jimbo's Naturally!, Inc.
Jimbo's Naturally mission has, as its fundamentally guiding principle, a commitment to:
- Sell and promote organic products and products containing organic ingredients whenever possible.
- Sell and promote the highest quality whole foods possible, for we believe these foods are better for you.
As part of this mission our food is free of:
- Refined white sugar and synthetic sweeteners.
- Bromated or bleached flours.
- Artificial colors and flavors.
- Harmful chemical additives and preservatives.
- Hydrogenated oils and tropical oils.
- Irradiation.
- Growth hormones, antibiotics, nitrates, and other chemical additives.
- Animal testing of cosmetics and body-care products.
Because we want to remain sensitive to our customers and to the community, Jimbo's Naturally! will make exceptions to the above standards based on customer demand (perceived or actual) and at least one of the following:
- The product is of overall exceptionally high quality and/or has outstanding nutritional and health benefits. These benefits outweigh the fact that the product does not fit all of the above criteria.
- The product tastes great and has overwhelming customer demand! This product tastes much better than its competitors although a similar product may be of higher nutritional value. (In these cases, Jimbo's…Naturally! would carry both).
- A socially responsible company makes this product. We look especially at those companies working actively to better social conditions, their communities, and the environment.
