Graphic Designer/ Website Administrator

General Purpose: To provide consistency in the branding and design standards. To ensure all promotions, product launches and marketing campaigns are executed in a timely manner to the Jimbo’s…Naturally! standard. To maintain the company digital platforms ensuring content is aligned with Jimbo’s…Naturally! brand.

Essential Duties:

  • Complete design initiatives according to marketing and production deadlines.
  • Design and maintain overall branding concept for consistency in digital, print, store signage and community presence, meeting all deadlines for marketing campaigns and print productions.
  • Translate and adapt developed concepts for digital platforms, including web pages, banner displays, social media, email and various digital marketing campaigns.
  • Craft unique, highly creative website & print imagery/layouts.
  • Create, execute and maintain social media campaigns.
  • Create, execute and maintain e-mail marketing design.
  • Oversee marketing sign printing & delivery.
  • Responsible for coordinating, scheduling and setting photography sessions.
  • Support the Director of Marketing with all marketing related projects and initiatives.
  • Support the Marketing Team at both in-store and off-site events

Other Responsibilities

  • Oversee website administration, such as adding and removing content from the website, creating images for new products, landing pages, etc.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of artwork files that are created.
  • Review digital proofs for overall printability, including accuracy, clarity, content and color.
  • Attend scheduled Marketing Department meetings and all store meetings.
  • Assist other team members in achieving the goals of the department and organization.
  • Adhere to all Marketing Department and store policies as outlined by the Marketing Director, the Staff Handbook and the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan.
  • Maintain clean and neat appearance in compliance with the Dress Code policy.
  • Provide support in other departments on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and advances proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress website platform.
  • Three years minimum of graphic design experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to present a portfolio of work.
  • 1 year “in-house” or agency experience desired.
  • Able to balance day-to-day tasks with special projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Must had a high level of competency with Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to create landing pages for website platform.
  • Must be able to create custom templated artwork, custom artwork and print ready artwork.
  • Must be able to create marketing advertisements/images for website, email campaigns, print marketing, etc.
  • Strong organization skills, and ability to prioritize and handle several tasks at once, work independently and remain self-motivated.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and an open, friendly demeanor that relates well in small or large group settings.
  • Previous retail and/or customer service experience a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to hear and speak clearly to communicate with customers, vendors and staff.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend at waist and reach above shoulders and horizontally to retrieve files and supplies.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
