San Diego, CA – The San Diego Chill was designated by Jimbo’s…Naturally! as the beneficiary of its Customer Appreciation Sale held on April 11th. Jimbo’s…Naturally! donated 5% of the entire day’s sales in all 5 stores along with customer donations for a grand total of $17,911 to The San Diego Chill.
Started in 2013 by then 13 year old Isaiah Granet, The San Diego Chill has grown to almost 30 team members in under 2 years. Isaiah, a competitive travel hockey player was inspired to create The Chill when he realized there were kids who may never have the opportunity to experience the passion that he feels for playing ice hockey and more importantly, being part of a team. As the beneficiary of Jimbo’s Customer Appreciation Sale, The San Diego Chill will use the donation to help pay for their weekly 30-minute ice time fee of $200, plus equipment and travel costs.
“When I first heard about Isaiah Granet and the San Diego Chill, I was blown away.
